Gaidar Forum provides platform for discussing impact of technological advancement on government, business and education
2018 Gaidar Forum will feature two discussions of the impact of breakthrough technologies on the state, business and education - Business and State: Models of Partnership in a Digital Age, and Strategic Breakthrough Triangle: the Future of Corporate Programs.
During the panel discussion, Business and State: Models of Partnership in a Digital Age, experts will try to figure out depth and speed of today's transformation through digital technologies; give their opinion on the role of the state in the age of digital economy, and where the changes should be expected. The participants will try to answer the question of how and how quickly will states cope with the today's challenges and assess the new models of partnership between business and the state, indicating what we should be guided by.
First Deputy Head of the Russian Government Executive Office Maxim Akimov will moderate the discussion. The participants will include President and Chairman of the Board of Sberbank Herman Gref; Vice President for Global Innovations at Cisco Guy Diedrich; CEO of Russian Railways Oleg Belozerov; Chairman of the Board of the Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs State Corporation (Vnesheconombank) Sergei Gorkov; General Director of QIWI Sergei Solonin; and First Deputy Chairman of the Russian Central Bank Olga Skorobogatova.
The Strategic Breakthrough Triangle: the Future of Corporate Programs expert discussion will focus on the search for a new paradigm for an educational program and processes sought after by business. The program «Strategic breakthrough triangle (Institute of Business Studies RANEPA – Rosatom Corporate Academy): synergetic structure and new implementation algorithm» will be presented at the session. The participants will propose ways to innovation-driven development in state corporations and determine what and how Board members and top managers should be taught; figure out ways to overcome industry-specific and academic inbreeding; and look at a number of other issues.
The moderators will be General Director of Rosatom Corporate Academy Yulia Uzhakina and Director of the Club of Directors for Science and Innovation (iRD&Club) Vladimir Kosteyev.
