Since 2010 - Rector, the Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU). Under his leadership, the unification of four leading higher educational institutions in the Far East was completed and FEFU was established.
Since 2008 - Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the Russian Federation. He oversaw the development of educational cooperation with APAC and African countries.
Since 2007 - Director, the Forecasting and Budget Process Arrangement Department, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.
