Emeritus Dean, EDHEC Business School
Olivier Oger was Dean of EDHEC Business School for almost 30 years between 1988 and 2017, and was the driving force behind its exceptional development. From 350 students when he took over, the School now has 8,000 students, plus 10,000 managers who annually take advantage of EDHEC Executive Education courses offered worldwide. Under his leadership, EDHEC opened campuses in Nice, Paris, London and Singapore and offices in Delhi, Shanghai, Moscow and New York. In 2003, EDHEC became one of the first schools to be awarded the triple crown of international accreditations (AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA).
Olivier Oger introduced an innovative strategy geared to driving the school’s visionary ambition and which focuses on making an impact on business and earning recognition for research and relevant academic programmes that are useful for business and for society in general.
Olivier Oger continues to be involved in the school’s international development. He was a member of the EQUIS Accreditation Committee for 7 years and conducted over 30 EQUIS and AACSB audits in the world’s top universities. Today, he is Chairman of the EDHEC Foundation and Director of EDHEC subsidiaries in Singapore and a board member of Crédit Mutuel (France).
