He currently holds the post of Director of the Center for Economic Modeling in the Energy Sector and Ecology at the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration.
Until 2002, he was an expert of the Russian-European Center for Economic Policy.
His area of professional interests includes: macroeconomic analysis, macromodels, problems of economic growth, calculation of growth, multifactorial productivity (TFP), non-payments and barter in transition economies, financial markets in transition economies, temporary structure of interest rates, fiscal federalism, assessment of taxable capacity and differences in the expenditure needs of the regions, econometric models.
In 1996, he got the Master’s Degree from the State University Higher School of Economics.
In 1994, he graduated from the Novosibirsk Technical University.
